Power Studio
Build connected image and video workflows on a canvas.
How do I get started in Power Studio?
Start with a template or build your own connected canvas on a computer.
- Open Power Studio from navigation on a laptop or desktop.
- Choose a template for a guided starting point, or start with a blank canvas.
- A block is one step, such as a prompt, an uploaded picture, or a video generator.
- Connect blocks to pass prompts and media between steps, then select a block to see its settings and run controls.
How do I connect and run Power Studio blocks?
Add prompts and media, connect compatible inputs, and run each generation step.
- Open Add blocks and choose a tool, image model, or video model.
- Add a Prompt, Upload image, or Upload video block as needed, then drag a connection from its output to a compatible input on the next block.
- Run the source generation first if the next step needs its finished media.
- Select the destination block, review its settings, missing-input guidance, and displayed usage, then choose Run Model.
- The connected Prompt supplies the text unless you type an override in the destination block.
- Each new run can spend usage; connecting blocks does not run the whole canvas automatically.
Which Power Studio template should I use?
Choose UGC ad, Product hero, Extend a clip, or Reframe when available.
- UGC ad builds a video of a person holding your product and talking to camera.
- Product hero focuses on the product itself with a guided shot.
- Extend a clip continues an existing video.
- Reframe changes the shape of a clip using AI fill and appears when that feature is enabled.
- Preview a template, provide the requested product or source media and brief, then review the connected blocks and usage before running.
- You can add or adjust blocks as you develop the project.
How do I keep a character or product consistent?
Use Character lock, Cyber casting, and Scale chart as references for later steps.
- Character lock creates a character reference showing the same character from different sides.
- Adding it also adds a connected Cyber casting block, which can turn the character picture into a casting clip.
- Review the picture and casting clip before connecting them as references to a compatible video block.
- Scale chart uses a person and product reference with size information to guide their relative scale.
- These references help guide consistency; review each result before reusing it in another shot.
How do I extend a video in Power Studio?
Upload a source clip and describe what should happen next.
- Choose Extend a clip in Power Studio.
- Upload a video or choose an uploaded clip from this project, select the added length, and describe what happens next.
- The app checks the source length and shows usage before you run.
- Keep the source connected while the extension is being made.
- The result on the generation block contains the new continuation; keep your original clip if you want to join the two in an editor.
How do I reframe, upscale, or remove a background?
Connect source media to the finishing tools available in Add blocks.
- When enabled, Reframe fills new picture around a video to fit a different shape.
- Smart crop, when separately available, crops the picture and can follow a face instead of adding new picture.
- Upscale creates a higher-resolution video.
- Remove background cuts out the subject of an image or video; connecting a video changes the block to video processing.
- Find the available tool under Add blocks, connect your source media, and select the block to choose its settings.
- Review its displayed usage and start control before processing.
- A tool that is absent from Add blocks is not enabled in your current app.
Can Power Studio help me improve a prompt?
Use Improve prompt or the prompt chat to refine your instructions.
- Select a prompt or generation block and use Improve prompt when available.
- Review the usage shown on the control before using it, then read the revised text before running a generation.
- Revert lets you return to a previous prompt when one is available.
- The prompt chat can help refine instructions for the connected media model.
- Prompt assistance has its own usage; generating an image or video is a separate run.
How do I save a Power Studio project and reuse a result?
Check the save status, reopen projects, and choose earlier takes.
Project changes and names save automatically.
- Wait for Saved before leaving; if the page says it could not save, keep it open while it retries.
- A local canvas labelled not saved does not have project saving, so do not rely on reopening it.
- Return to Power Studio to open a saved project or use its menu to rename or delete it.
- Generation blocks keep earlier takes so you can select a result to preview or pass to a connected step.
- Finished generations are also available in Library for download and reuse.
Can I use Power Studio on my phone?
The canvas needs a wider screen; use the handoff link to continue on a computer.
Power Studio templates and the canvas need a laptop or desktop screen.
- On a phone, copy the link from the handoff screen and open it on your computer while signed in to the same account.
- For video creation on your phone, choose Make a video on this phone to open the regular Video studio.
